Dr. Silvia Odorcic is a Harvard trained Comprehensive Ophthalmologist with a sub-specialty in Cornea, External Disease and Dry Eye. She completed her advanced fellowship at the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary under the tutelage of the renowned Dr. Claes Dohlman, the founder of modern corneal science and inventor of the Boston Keratoprosthesis. Dr. Odorcic received her medical degree at the University of Toronto, and completed her Ophthalmology residency at the University of Ottawa where she worked closely under the mentorship of Dr. Bruce Jackson, a global pioneer in Dry Eye and Ocular Surface Disease. She graduated magna cum laude from Cornell University with a double major in English literature and Biology, and attended the Bishop Strachan Girls School in Toronto, where her love for academia first started.

Dr. Odorcic is double board certified in both Ophthalmology and Lifestyle Medicine. As a Diplomat of the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine, she is passionate about using the power of plant-based nutrition and lifestyle to prevent and reverse diseases ranging from diabetes to heart disease. She ran her first solo marathon during the pandemic and meditates daily. Her favourite mantra is: “Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.” - Gandhi
